Bringing Transparency to Family Wealth
Convening conversations about stuff that matters
There is enormous secrecy in the family office and family wealth space. Secrecy among professionals (inside of family offices and independent), who don’t want to talk about their clients, don’t want to discuss their methods, successes, or failures, and don’t want to reveal their weaknesses. Secrecy among family members, both in terms of staying out of the public eye and, sometimes, in terms of keeping things from each other. The field is infused with reticence.
Being revealed feels risky. Others may judge. We may flinch from being seen. But the benefits of transparency are transformative. We can stretch and express ourselves. We can be honest. We can find others with similar interests and concerns, and collaborate. We can talk about the things that matter.
